6R80 Gear selector range converter

Description

When swapping a Ford 6R80 automatic transmission into your hot rod, there is a good chance that you will lose the gear selector position information. The reason being is that the 6R80 selector position is encoded as a PWM signal most of the time, making it very hard for aftermarket ECU's to decipher the signal.

The 6R80 Gear selector range converter solves this by "tapping" into the signal wire that comes from the transmission and converting the PRDSL signal to an ECU-friendly 0-5V signal that can be used by a standalone ECU and broadcast to a dash or other devices.

Please note that this converts only the selector position signal.
