What makes our fire rings so special?
SURFACE AREA AND CLAMP SPREAD
Our rings are the widest on the GTR market. Made from the same material the Top Fuel teams use, we have maximized the available sealing area through trial and error in order to provide a ring that provides the maximum seating surface in order to spread the clamping load over a wider area and prevent cylinder head warpage during torque.
GASKET THICKNESS
After many years of testing, we have come up with the optimum gasket thickness that works best in all-out engines. On a GTR engine, the head gasket thickness determines the center of the variable cam gears, which need to be precisely aligned. Our fire ring and gasket combination is 0.010" taller than the OEM gasket, which allows machine shops to mill the cylinder heads to perfection without fear of displacing the VCT alignment.
CLAMP SHARING
In a fire ring sealing system, the gasket is usually used only to seal the oil and water passages and 100% of the sealing is left to the rings. In our Extreme Performance system, we have carefully measured fire ring crush height so that the copper gasket shares about 15% of the clamp force. This clamp sharing ensures a complete gasket seal and uses the awesome properties of copper to provide a secondary barrier to combustion leakage under extreme boost.
COMPATIBLE WITH SLEEVES
Our fire rings have been carefully dimensioned to be compatible with both stock and sleeved blocks. On dry sleeves, our rings seat entirely over the steel. This provides a failsafe so that during clamping, all of the force is exerted onto the cylinder sleeve and not on the surrounding aluminum, pressing the sleeve into the block and preventing any "sleeve drops".

We recommend CNC machining of the fire ring grooves in the engine block due to the extremely tight tolerances of our gaskets. We can also provide CNC machining of the engine block as a service. While these can be installed on the cylinder head, we recommend engine block installation so that whenever the cylinder heads need to be serviced, they can be surfaced without worry of disturbing the seating groove. Seating the rings in the block also ensures correct gasket alignment and prevents the rings from dropping during installation.
This module converts the digital signal from a flex fuel sensor into an analog signal that the R35 ECU can process. Simple plug and play installation makes this module a breeze to use. All of our products are proudly assembled in the USA.

4.5V = 100% ethanol content

The PDM1 is a powerful solid state relay with built-in overcurrent protection in a small, completely sealed enclosure.
Manufactured in the USA and programmed to support continuous 20-amps, it is an intelligent power distribution module that eliminates the need for fuses as is the case with conventional normal and solid state relays. A built-in RGB LED light shows operating conditions and will change colors during overcurrent conditions and will also let the user know when the unit is automatically retrying to activate the circuit after a protection shutdown.
The CNC aluminum case is actually smaller that a standard ISO relay and can be mounted in any position. The electronics are fully enclosed in high grade epoxy resin making the entire unit completely waterproof.
Internal pullup resistors on the inputs make this unit ideal for controlling nitrous solenoids since it will not "auto-fire" during initial ignition switch Key-On, eliminating the need for DPDT switches and simplifying your nitrous wiring. And it can also be pulse-controlled (PWM) with any square-wave signal up to 1000 times per second.
Switching from a conventional relay to a PDM1 is extremely easy and only requires an additional ground signal (low current) wire to be connected.
The PDM1 also features an internal microprocessor that monitors current spikes and prevents false overcurrent protection on inductive loads like fans and fuel pumps. By continuously monitoring current, the PDM1 will allow a brief spike that is normal on all inductive devices before entering protection mode. It also features "flyback" protection against negative voltage generated by fans and other inductive motors.

This is a complete new harness however, due to the fact that some connectors and grommets are made solely for Nissan, we require a core harness. If a core cannot be provided, we will supply one at extra cost. While this is a plug and play item, expert installation is required since it will require changing Motec firmware wiring assignments to match the supplied base map as well as possible retuning due to additional sensors.

We recommend these racing spark plugs on VR38s making more than 1600HP. They are heat range 9 and will work great on ethanol and methanol fuels. They are also very resistant to lead fouling found in some blends.

The S7-Plus ECU offers an extremely high level of precise engine management control. The triple processor unit uses a high speed RISC processor for code execution and an additional large FPGA for high speed engine position tracking, allowing the scheduling of code to be independent of signal patterns, increasing flexibility, efficiency and accuracy under transient conditions. This powerful combination also allows advanced control algorithms but yet easy to map for the end user still using our SCal software and S7 Firmware.Designed to cater for PnP kits where clients also need the programmable CAN Bus and Drive-By-Wire support offered by the S7-Plus.
The third processor present is available for in the future users to write their own code in C for Full Vehicle Integration via Canbus and Build some custom strategies to handle some of the unique requirements which are now found in OEM Applications.
